Run #2763 by Happy Ghost at Turf Club/Retirement Home

Despite a smaller crowd, this week's run was lively and rowdy! Our hare Sunny set a great atmosphere, despite not knowing the trail. Many members overseas and in Thailand, supporting other chapters, ON ON! Nutcracker proactively snapped photos of all, just as our resident photographer MyPix normally does. Big Finger from Brunei joined us again, bringing delightful mooncake for all to have. The weather was great, even the terrible haze took a break just for our run. Off we went into the green, climbing up and up. The trail was steep and challenging, with runners climbing over and under many obstacles like tree falls. The run setters were smart in placing bars (without drinks) and circles to make the hashers work together to find the next papers. Some blind bats decided to go their own way, trying to hit their step count goal. Climbing under huge rocks and bat roosts, hashers had to suck in their tummies to crawl through. Some like Idiot Armin were cramping from the tiny crawl space at some points. Ichibai tried to boost some hashers with promise of beer and a poke up the bum if they stop too long! Followed the trail all the way up to the Astro Rock viewpoint, where we got a good look at the Turf Club and Georgetown before the turf club is gone. All in all the run was about 1 HR long, short and sweet for this week. After returning, the bunny had a nice spread of food from our beloved KimKim, with lovely Chinese food such as Lo Back and Tong Sui to rejuvenate some tired hashers. Next week's run will be at Waterfall big car park, near Youth Park, hosted by Dolly. Please come and show some love for her, and we will see you girls there. ON ON
