Run #2757 by Ronnie Tour at Tenby Schools Penang

Run Report

Finally, we have a brand-new runsite today — Tenby School Service Road! A total of 29 members and 4 guests turned up to join the fun. Our Hare today was Ronnie Tour, with Sai Seng as his Co-Hare. Before the run, Sai Seng casually briefed us that it would be “just a short run, one uphill and one downhill.” He also told us that the trail would end after an aqueduct. Well… we should have known better! We prepared ourselves for a typical Sai Seng-style trail, but surprisingly, the uphill section was so easy — no skirting, no virgin trail, just a normal trail! For a moment, we thought, “Wow, Sai Seng is being so kind to us today!” After reaching the top, we happily started heading downhill, thinking the adventure was almost over. Wrong! The real adventure had only just begun! Suddenly, we were thrown into rough, slippery trails, dry leaves, big rocks and virgin jungle trails. Our happy downhill mood quickly turned into sweaty faces and tired legs! Despite having a new runsite, we also had a new dinner venue — New KK 99 Cafe, conveniently located just opposite our runsite. And what a delicious dinner we had! Everything was freshly cooked, piping hot and absolutely yummy! After a satisfying dinner, the night continued with our usual Down Down Circle, Hash spirits and wonderful fellowship. A big THANK YOU to our generous Hare Ronnie Tour and Co-Hare Sai Seng for organising another wonderful and memorable run for us. A brand-new runsite, an unexpected adventure, delicious hot food and great fellowship. ON-ON! See you all next week! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🍻
