Run #2755 by Miss Bollywood at Waterfall Rd Big Car Park
Run Report
When the Bunny announced that our legendary Speed Hound would be co-hare, most of us thought we were in for a pleasant, straightforward evening stroll. After all, despite clocking an incredible 1,500+ runs, she rarely gets the chance to set runs because work usually keeps her busy. Lucky Bunny—Speed Hound happened to be on holiday and agreed to help. What a treat that turned out to be!
Forget a normal run! The hares took us on an unforgettable adventure through some of Penang's best hidden rocky trails. Starting from Sun Gate, we scrambled and explored Astro Rock, King Kong Rock, and Square Rock, with plenty of cheeky climbs, stunning viewpoints, and enough ups and downs to keep everyone's legs and lungs working overtime. It was one of those trails that reminded us why we Hash—great scenery, good company, and just enough suffering to earn the beer later.
Despite the challenging terrain, all hashers made it back to the runsite within two hours, sweaty, smiling, and full of stories. Verdict from the pack? An excellent trail with fantastic scenery and plenty of fun. The Bunny then rewarded everyone's efforts with a delicious bowl of authentic Penang Asam Laksa, plus free event T-shirts and handy souvenirs for everyone who came to support the run. A generous Bunny always earns extra cheers!
Before closing the circle, GM reminded everyone to keep the true Hash spirit alive by supporting upcoming invitation runs. Best wishes were also sent to those heading for the Gopeng Outstation Run—run hard, drink wisely, and come back in one piece! Next week's trail heads to Shamrock Kali Corner, so lace up those muddy shoes and we'll see you there.
Verdict: Brilliant rocky adventure, legendary co-hare, generous Bunny, excellent food, and a very happy pack. On On!
