Run #2739 at Unknown

Run Report

It’s been a long time since we last ran at Bukit Jambul—the last time was back on 8 May 2025. Today, returning to this familiar yet slightly unfamiliar run site brought back a wave of memories and emotions. Almost a year has passed, and while the trail still feels familiar, the long break made it feel refreshingly new all over again. A medium to short run of about 4km, yet with an elevation gain of almost 500 meters, it quickly reminded us that Bukit Jambul never goes easy on us. The unexpected final uphill stretch pushed everyone to dig deep, but it also made the finish line incredibly satisfying and well-earned. The weather has been extremely hot recently, but perhaps our passion for the run touched the skies. The entire trail stayed pleasantly overcast and cool, with no rain in sight—until the very last member safely returned to the run site, when we finally heard the sound of rain falling. We believe that God always reserves the best for those who are willing to put in the effort and keep going. Back at the run site, authentic Indian food was generously served by the Hare for dinner, followed by a warm welcome to a large group of visiting guests and our usual down-down circle, bringing the evening to a lively and joyful close. Before closing the circle, the GM unveiled our club’s 55th Anniversary promotional banner and shared the exciting details of the upcoming celebration, adding a proud and meaningful highlight to the night. As the circle came to an end, we left Bukit Jambul not only with tired legs, but with full hearts—grateful for the trail, the fellowship, the laughter, and the memories we continue to create together as one Hash family.
