Run #2738 at Unknown

Run Report

Super sunny skies welcomed us as we gathered for today’s run at Penang Retirement Resort. It was Mike’s run — the ever-reliable backbone of our GM Emeritus. The trail, crafted by his jungle queen, began with a familiar entrance but soon unfolded into an unexpectedly beautiful downhill stretch that caught us all by surprise. I took more than one and a half hours to conquer a total elevation gain of 413 meters, completing the 4.5 km journey with tired legs and a very satisfied heart. Kudos to the run setter for designing such an adventurous route. Along the way, laughter echoed through the jungle as our front runners confidently followed the wrong paper and ended up climbing the same path twice — giving everyone a perfect chance to chill themselves. Amid the sweat and smiles, an exciting announcement was made by our GM: our club will celebrate its 55th Anniversary on 27th February next year. It’s hard to believe that our beloved club is, in fact, older than our new GM. Let us come together to support this meaningful milestone. Mark the date, help to spread the word, and, if you can, contribute towards making this celebration truly memorable. More details will be shared in the coming weeks — or perhaps even sooner. Stay tuned!!
